Generative AI is fun, but 90% of the time it fails

How is everyone using generative AI?
Personally, I’m fascinated by AI-generated illustrations and images—it really blew me away, and now I’m hooked.
The image above was also created with generative AI. The lighting is quite stylish and gives off a nice atmosphere.
Choosing the right words during the generation process is crucial, and honestly, about 90% of my attempts end in failure.

Failed attempt
I keep wondering, “Why did it turn out like this?”
It’s interesting, but not what I was going for.
I aim for that perfect 10%, but 90% of the time, it ends in failure.

An AI-generated image of a Japanese woman
A rare success—this is part of the 10%.
I had her wear earrings from the Blood-Red Coral Series.
Generative AI is amazing, isn’t it?
It made me think, “Who needs a model anymore?”
…but I just noticed—the hand looks weird.
The fingers are a bit off.
So yeah, another failure after all.

Desert Hotel
This illustration was created based on that kind of image.
It turned out so cute that I’m honestly satisfied—almost makes me feel like I don’t need to draw anymore.
That said, it’s still different from creating something by hand.
In fact, looking at this made me think, “If I painted it myself in opaque watercolor, I might be able to make something even better.”

Maybe it would be fun to gather and share all the failed attempts too!
