The Season of Swallowtail Chrysalises
Just as the title suggests, they’ve returned again this year.
Honestly, I’m a little surprised. Do they really plan to come back every single year?
Or perhaps I only noticed them last year, and in reality, they’ve been repeating the same routine for many, many years.
That’s probably the case.

Now, let me introduce this year’s new members.
Last year there were three of them, but this year we have two.
Still, when I found them this year, my excitement shot up.
Of course, they’re completely different individuals from last year.
Nature is amazing, isn’t it?
They will now spend the cold winter in their chrysalises—through rainy days, snowy days.
I hope they emerge safely next spring.
