My Recent Dog Walking Route
In my case, I usually walk Ron, my dog, in the evenings. He’s like the "manager" dog of the household.
There’s a river nearby that’s just the right distance for a walk, so we used to stroll along the riverside. But recently, I’ve found walking through the residential area more interesting, so Ron and I have been exploring that instead.
For a while, I was looking forward to seeing a particular sight during our walks, but just last week, the house where it was located got torn down. It seems like the red berries I was so fond of have probably been removed too, which is a bit disappointing.
As for the next thing I encountered, it’s a cat. I’m not sure if it’s a stray or someone’s pet, but I took a picture just in case. I’ve noticed that black and white cats tend to have more amusing facial expressions.
And here’s another one—a tabby cat that was climbing the fence of a two-story, four-room apartment building that I really like.
I thought I had seen a missing cat poster for a cat that looked like this one, but after checking, it seems I was mistaken. It turns out the cat belongs to a neighbor.
Finally, we reach the park, which marks the end of our walk. It had been too hot recently, so I’d stopped coming here for a while, but now I put Ron, our "manager" dog, on a long leash and let him run around.
He seems to love tennis balls. When I throw one, he brings it back in his mouth, but then refuses to let go of it. It’s an incredibly frustrating game we play.
I’m really glad we live in such a nice area for walking.
All that’s missing now is a little stylish café nearby, and it would be perfect.
