From Geometric Patterns to Hand-Drawn Illustrations
I update the illustration on the top page of my website every week.
Updating it every week can be quite a challenge, but I keep doing it because I believe that drawing regularly is the best way to improve. More than anything, I enjoy the process.
I mainly create my illustrations using a computer and an iPad. They are not only featured on my website but are also used in many other ways, such as printed fabric for my accessory pouches, backgrounds for photographing my accessories, and even as inspiration for new accessory collections.
The more my drawing skills improve, the more possibilities open up, so I'm always learning. Looking back at my illustrations, I realize there isn't much consistency in my style. I enjoy geometric patterns, plants, birds, and many other subjects. I simply draw whatever inspires me at the moment.

Four-Leaf Tile
This geometric design was created by carefully calculating the layout with a calculator. I also added a touch of my favorite fluorescent yellow-green as an accent, which gives the pattern a lively feel.

Apartment
For this illustration, I first painted a sheet of paper with green watercolor, photographed it, and imported the image into my iPad to use as the background. I then drew the illustration on top of it. I like the slightly mysterious atmosphere it creates. I think it would also look interesting with blue or red backgrounds.

Bamboo Grass and Bird
Finally, this illustration features bamboo grass and a bird. I turned this design into an accessory pouch as well. Looking at the finished result, I felt the bird ended up a little too small, so next time I'd like to make it slightly larger.
I'll continue drawing whatever catches my interest, exploring different ideas and enjoying the creative process along the way.

There are many more illustrations to explore in the Illustration Gallery on my website.
