January 2026: Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, everyone!
Last year, I ended up spending way too much time at the hospital. To my surprise, I experienced my first-ever broken bone—specifically, an avulsion fracture. I always thought I was the type of person who would never break a bone!
And that wasn’t all. Later, at a cat shelter, I tried to pet a cat that wasn’t quite used to people yet, and… chomp! It bit me. So, back to the hospital I went.
I heard that even if a cat bite looks shallow, it can easily get swollen or infected later. Usually, I’d just leave it alone, but this time I made sure to get it treated properly.
Actually, this was the third time I’ve been bitten by a cat! Luckily, this time was the mildest. I think rushing to the doctor immediately really made a difference. The last two times were much worse—they got all swollen and nasty because the bites were deep and I waited too long. That was a nightmare!
I’m looking at all these mishaps as a way of “warding off bad luck” for the future. This year, my top priority is definitely "Safety and Health First."
I look forward to another great year with you all!
